First Thought

בְּיוֹם צָרָתִי אֲדֹנָי דָּרָשְׁתִּי

In the day of my trouble, I sought the Lord (Psalms 77:3)

Meditate and celebrate that the Lord is in the midst of our problems.

The בּ in בְּיוֹם is an example of an “inseparable preposition” that means “in.” We will study various types of prepositions in this lesson.
