13.5 The Perfect Sufformatives Intro

The perfect sufformatives are related to the pronominal suffixes (Lesson 9), which in turn are related to the independent personal pronouns (Lesson 8) in many cases

  • The table below shows the perfect sufformatives in the middle column
  • Note how the 1st person, 2nd person, and 3fs forms are similar to the respective pronominal suffix
    • For 2nd person, note how the כ has become a תּ
  • 2MP and 2FP are called “Heavy Sufformatives” because, as we will learn, they draw the accent
