1י ALWAYS drops consonantal י when it is \(R_1\)

• \(V_P =\bar E\) or \(V_P = \hat I\) (Hireq+Yod) - not the consonant Yod but the vowel letter
• \(V_S = \bar E\) (or \(V_S = A\) if stative)
