9.11 Unexpected changes

Two of the prepositions we studied in Lesson 6 undergo some irregular changes you will encounter as you read the Bible.

• כְּ (like, as) and מִן (from, etc.) often insert an extra מוֹ or מּ in some forms
  • Like you (2MS): כָּמ֫וֹךָ
  • From you (2MS): מִמְּךָ

Some prepositions take Type 1, while others take Type 2, but, with a preposition, the meaning is the same with either suffix type
