8.6 Interrogative Pronouns
- מִי = who
- מָה = what
- Can also be written as Maqqef - note the vowel shortens מַה־
- לָמָה = why
- אֵלִ֣י אֵ֖לִי לָמָ֣ה עֲזַבְתָּ֑נִי
- My God, my God, WHY have you forsaken me? (Psalms 22:1)
Usually, interrogative pronouns will appear at the beginning of a clause
