11.2 The Biblical text always spells out numbers

Numerals will always be spelled out as words

• Example:
  • כָּל־יְמֵי מְתוּשֶׁלַח תֵּשַׁע וְשִׁשִּׁים שָׁנָה וּתְשַׁע
  • “all the days of Methuselah (were) nine and sixty years (i.e., 960) and nine (i.e., 969).”
