• 3-Guttural can tweak the \(V_S\), so we can’t use \(V_S\) for parsing
• Parse based on the word’s \(Pre\) sequence
• With 3עח, \(V_S = A\)
• With 3א, the א usually quiesces
  • The sufformative will lose its Dagesh Lene
  • The \(V_S\) often switches, so we do not rely on it for parsing
